The Judo Organising Team welcomes and invites you to participate in the NatWest Island Games Rhodes 2007 XII.
After 12 years the sport of Judo is part of the official competition schedule of the NatWest Island Games. Judo is a well-known sport in Rhodes, and its development started 20 years ago. Three judo clubs are responsible for the local development of the sport, organising competitions and various related activities.
Feedback from the Games Member Islands on the participation questionnaire, indicated that interest in Judo is high which promises for exciting competitions.
Judo will be held in the "Vergina Indoor Hall" a new facility that meets all technical requirements of the sport.
Anastasia Stavria and her team are responsible for organising the Judo Competition for the NatWest Island Games Rhodes 2007 XII. A former judoka, Judo Coach, Physical Education Teacher, as well as a member of the National Judo Federation Board, she has a wealth of experience in organising Judo competitions.
