The Table Tennis Organising Team welcomes and invites you to participate in the NatWest Island Games Rhodes 2007 XII.

Table Tennis was revived in Rhodes, due to the efforts of the Rhodes IGA, in 2001. Very quickly and with hard work it became very popular.

The Municipal Sport Organisations have helped in the development of the sport, and this has resulted in the involvement of a large amount of athletes and many local competitions. The one club that exists, assists in the coordination of this development effort and takes many initiatives to organise various activities and tournaments, with the support of the National Table Tennis Federation. These efforts have produced improved performances in the National League of Greece!

The table tennis competitions will be held in the "College of Rhodes Indoor Hall" a new facility which meets all technical requirements.

Table Tennis Coordinator:

Emmanouil Filippou and his team are responsible for organising the Table Tennis Competitions for the NatWest Island Games Rhodes 2007 XII. He is one of the key persons that worked for the development of the sport in Rhodes. He has participated in all activities and events, gathering a wealth of experience. He has also participated in Table Tennis in Guernsey 2003 NatWest Island Games.
